Dagger Skateboards at the El Gato Classic

Dagger Skateboards headed out to the El Gato Classic for a weekend of skating, music, and skateboard history.

The El Gato Classic was created by legendary skateboarder Eddie “El Gato” Elguera, a two-time world skateboard champion and one of the early innovators of vertical skateboarding.

Elguera helped push vert skating forward with tricks including the Elguerial and the Frontside Rock-n-Roll, influencing generations of skaters who followed.

The El Gato Classic brought together skateboarders from different generations alongside music and industry friends, creating an event built around the history and culture of skateboarding.
