Chrome Angel began with an unusual piece of vintage design rather than a traditional skateboard reference. Drawing inspiration from a decorative letter opener dating back to the World War II era, Woogie reworked its sculpted metal form into a tall, blade-like composition designed specifically for the shape of a skateboard deck.

The figure’s polished surfaces, curved details, and extended point create a strong vertical silhouette from nose to tail. Against the solid red deck, the artwork feels more like a rare metal artifact than a typical skate graphic.
