HOOK skateboard deck 7-ply — Robert Rusler Tribute Deck.

Built to honor the raw, renegade energy behind Robert Rusler’s iconic Hook — leader of the Daggers in the 1986 cult classic Thrashin’. This one isn’t for the wall. Instead, it’s made to skate: solid pop, controlled landings, and a feel that stays consistent session after session.

Artwork

Bobby Brown (Bobby Draws Skulls) created the artwork and pulled inspiration straight from the original film. As a result, the graphic hits like a tribute without trying too hard.

Hook Skateboard Deck 7-Ply Specs

  • Construction: 7-ply Canadian hard rock maple
  • Concave: Medium
  • Shape: Pro

Because the build stays consistent, this hook skateboard deck 7-ply rides predictable under your feet — clean pop, stable control, and confidence on repeat sessions.

This medium concave deck gives you a balanced pocket for control, while the pro shape stays comfortable for street and park. Plus, the longer options add stability, so it feels solid on faster rolls and heavier landings.

Top Veneers

Top colors vary by deck (not all tops are black). However, every HOOK deck has the same build and specs — the top veneer color is the only thing that changes.

Included

  • Free grip included with every deck (for now).

FAQ

What size should I ride?
8.0"–8.25" feels quick and responsive. If you want more stability and landing room, go 8.5"+ (especially for bigger setups).

Is the concave steep?
No — it’s a medium concave, balanced for control without feeling overly aggressive.

Will the top veneer match the photos?
Not always. Veneer colors vary by deck, but the construction and shape stay the same.
